Wood Acres Project: How We Incorporated Color into a Neutral Home
We are so excited to share one of our recent home staging projects with you today! When we first started working on this Wood Acres home, we knew we wanted to bring some color into the space without it being too overwhelming since it’s such a gorgeous neutral space!
In the end, we were able to bring in just the right amount of color, which allowed the features of the home really pop! Keep scrolling to see more details of the project.
How We Incorporated Color Into The Home
In the living area, we kept the main pieces (couch, coffee table, and rug) neutral and pulled color in through two statement chairs, coffee table styling, and art in the built-in shelving. This allows the eye to focus on the details of the room without the colors being the main focal point.
And by staggering art in the built-ins, the eye is tricked into making the room feel bigger and brighter.
The home also features a few small corners, which we brightened up to make them feel larger with some bold patterns, colors, and art. The acrylic console table in this area also gives the decor the feeling that it’s floating.
In the office space, we wanted to keep things as neutral as possible since most people work better in spaces that calm them. But, in order to brighten up the space and still incorporate color, we opted for a fun rug that was a little brighter colored!
