Stonecreek Project: The Living Space

Our Woods Acres project is one of our favorite home staging projects to date! The entire space is so cozy and welcoming from the second you enter the home. Our favorite space? The living room! Filled with neutrals, pops of color, and the most gorgeous built-ins, we have a feeling you’ll love this space as much as we do.

With a large neutral-colored sectional as the focus of the room, we decided to add a pop of color with throw pillows. The blue tones that we use make the room feel cozy and give potential home buyers the ability to picture themselves (and their things!) in the space.

Since the living room also has a lot of white tones, we added contrast with a wood coffee table and styled it very simply with some colorful books, our favorite beads, and some faux greenery.

The back wall of the room features built-ins (our favorite!) that we couldn’t wait to style. With a white backsplash, we opted for more color on the shelves to really draw the eye to this area.

To give the shelves some depth and character we utilized a mix of textures and heights and gave each item some space so it doesn’t look clustered. The great thing about styling shelves is that the less symmetry you have, the more lived-in they looked - which is what we aim for!
